Continuous casual reminder the The Phantom of The Opera is a horror story.
Not a romance story.
A horror story.

I love that bedazzled cape the phantom wears in the musical because you can just imagine him in his lair with a bedazzler like “I’m gonna look so sick. Christine is gonna love this.”
You taught me the courage of stars before you left,
How light carries on endlessly, even after death.
With shortness of breath, you explained the infinite,
How rare and beautiful it is to even exist.
— “Saturn" by Sleeping At Last
Just a quick doodle in homage to the Rome arc of Susan Kay’s “Phantom.” I really don’t feel like there’s quite enough Giovanni love out there, as it was— personally— among one of my favorite parts of the story.
Also, “Saturn” just screamed of some heart-wrenching, lost loved one feels— so it seemed only appropriate.

Inktober day 18: Miss Feline Misogyny herself
Erik is the sort of person who says “It’s not a mess, it’s creative chaos!”

In my head, Raoul’s thoughts are written in blue Comic Sans with more punctuation than necessary.
Christine’s are a soothing, sensible, green Perpetua or Garamond.
Erik thinks in bright red Edwardian Script, capslock, 10 pt font, interspersed with Wingdings when he gets excited.
This needs to be a thing.
Somebody make this into a thing. Printed and purchasable. Now.
